MISSION STATEMENT

 

It is the mission & purpose of Progressive Community Care Center,  to provide authentic Outpatient Behavioral health services in an atmosphere of warmth and caring so that those with mental health or behavioral issues are able to reach their highest potential. We provide support, education, and life tools to help individuals struggling with issues related to stress, life adjustments, grief, loss, depression and other mental health adversities.

 

VISION

 

It is the vision of Progressive Community Care Center, to enhance and improve the quality of life for those who are dealing with mental health or behavioral challenges of mental adversities. Our high quality professional staff is dedicated to motivating, inspiring, teaching, and embracing the goals and needs of our consumers as we strive to help them be as successful and independent as possible while minimizing the stigma related to mental illness.

Progressive Community Care Center,  is committed to integrating the values of Respect, Integrity, Dedication, Quality, and Professionalism into every activity and service provided. We provide our consumers with professional community-based service, comprehensive service planning. We strive for excellence via ongoing improvement of ethical and efficient practices and we hold ourselves accountable by continually seeking feedback regarding our services and the results we attain together.

Our Clinical Staff
Psychiatry
Medication management is provided by professional medical providers, who may include board-certified or board-eligible medical doctors, certified nurse practitioners, or licenesed clinical psychologists. All psychiatry staff are authorized to practice in Louisiana and enrolled to participate in the Louisiana Medicaid Program.
LMHP

Licensed Mental Health Professional(s) provides counseling, clinical assessment, and clinical supervision of non-licensed community support workers for chronically mentally ill and/or disabled adults, emotionally disturbed children, or adolescents and their families. LMHPs have a Master's degree in the behavioral health field and independent licensure with the State of Louisiana.

MHP/MHS

The Mental Health Professional position provides case management/ counseling/ skills building for chronically mentally ill and/or disabled adults, emotionally disturbed children, or adolescents and their families. MHP/MHS provide all services under the direct supervision of the LMHP. Mental Health Specialists have a bachelor's degree in the behavioral health field. MHPs have a Master's degree in the behavioral health field.
